Good in the middle
This backplane solution provides storage place for four 3.5" SATA/SAS HDDs and there for is the middle brother in the family between IB-543 and IB-545 which provide five or three HDD backplane solution.

For safety
To that, we add to the delivery a key for the IB-544SSK. The HDD installation is trayless: simply push the HDD in, close the latch and done.

Cooler holds longer
In order that the HDDs and their new home will not get too hot, the robust high quality aluminium enclosure dissipate the heat from the inside of the enclosure to the outside. Still, a 70 mm fan is there for support. The four LED indicators provide information regarding HDD access (read/write) as well as fan insformation.
